Every winter we join with other churches in the borough to provide food and shelter for those who are sleeping rough in our area (Forest Churches Emergency Night Shelter). One night a week we open our building to give a hot meal, bedding for sleep and breakfast for up to 30 people. Other churches do the same for the other nights of the week meaning that together we can provide food and a warm place to sleep every night during the coldest time of the year.

While we give a warm welcome and provide for the immediate needs of some of those sleeping rough, through the collaboration of the churches there is also a caseworker available who can help with longer term needs such as housing.
