Our Beliefs
We belong to the Baptist Union of Great Britain a network of over 2,000 churches in the UK. We are also members of the Evangelical Alliance and affirm their Basis of Faith.

Living for God
We believe in the good news that God made us, loves us and sent Jesus into the world so that we can know him, love him and serve him too.

We love to worship God, which is our response to all that God has done in our lives. We express this together in our services through singing, prayer, getting to know God better through the Bible, and also as we live for him in our places of work, neighbourhood and homes.
Growing Together
None of us are perfect, as the Bible says, 'we are all sinners'. But we believe that through the death and resurrection of Jesus we are forgiven our sins, and set free to love and serve the living God. We seek to help one another discover the changes we need to make in our lives to become more like Jesus and aim to create an environment where needs can be met, hurts can be healed and nobody is forgotten.

Our church is made up of people at all stages of Christian experience. We hope that we can help each other with honest answers to honest questions about life and faith. So whatever stage of life you are at, you're welcome to join us as we help one another grow in faith, hope and love.
Sharing Jesus
We believe that Jesus came because God loves people. In the Bible we read about how Jesus demonstrated God's love through his words and actions. We want to share this love of God, revealed in Christ, with our words and actions here in Walthamstow and all around the world. We believe that Jesus cares about every aspect of our lives and for every person in our community so we aim to do so too. We believe that people's lives can be transformed by the love of God.
