Coronavirus Updates

These are confusing and difficult times for us all but we trust a loving God and we are really glad that God has brought us together as a church family in Blackhorse Road Baptist Church. The Bible says;

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:23-25

Although we cannot meet together at our church building or in person we can spur one another on, love and do good deeds, encourage one another and we can meet together digitally. Please scroll down for some updates, ideas and resources. We hope to keep this page updated over the next few weeks.

We've added a blog to our site and we're going to get various people giving their reflections on faith and life during this coronavirus crisis.

The latest one is the second in a series of Sunday reflections in the run-up to Easter. We'll be looking at some of the events in the week leading up to Good Friday.

For local advice and guidance during this coronavirus crisis a good place to visit is Waltham Forest council's webpage. The page is regularly updated and has some helpful links.
